White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel is rumored by Washington insiders to be planning his departure from his current position in six to eight months, the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported on Monday.

The report suggested that Emanuel has grown frustrated with lack of pragmatism among other members of the Obama staff and would like to spend more time with his family than his current job allows.
