An El Al pilot was arrest at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on suspicion of trying to bring an illegal retractable baton on-board a flight on Sunday, the New York Post reported Monday.

According to the report, police charged the 40-year-old pilot with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. He was reportedly on the way to board his El Al flight when security personnel discovered the weapon in his luggage.
