Hizbullah planned to assassinate a leading Israeli official abroad but changed their plans at the last minute for fear the action would take attention away from the events of the Gaza flotilla raid, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.

According to the report, the official was called back to Israel from abroad to deal with the aftermath of the flotilla raid.
