Report: Man suspected of giving info on Ron Arad to Mossad

Lebanese intelligence officials detained a man suspected of supplying information about captured Israeli soldier Ron Arad to Mossad, according to a Lebanese report cited by Channel 10 News.

The suspect was stopped in a Palestinian refugee camp after he received a phone call from a European number believed to be used by Mossad, the report said.Sources in the report also said that the suspect planned to meet an Israeli operative in Europe, but the meeting never happened.

Lebanese intelligence previously stopped another man suspected of spying for Israel in late September.
