Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to appoint Yuval Steinitz as foreign minister, according to Israeli media reports.

The sources said that Yisrael Katz was supposed to be appointed by Netanyahu in an effort to ease the rivalry between the two, but that Steinitz ultimately received the post.

"The appointment is natural and will contribute to industrial quiet," the party said.
