The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali denied on Friday reports that the Syrian missions was responsible for the disappearance of Syrian dissidents who have gone missing in Lebanon, news site Now Lebanon reported Friday.

Ali said that "Such accusations affect coordination between the two countries as concerns security issues," Now Lebanon reported.

He added that there were Lebanese officials and MPs seeking to undermine Syria as the months-long opposition campaign to force Syrian President Bashar Assad from power continues.
