Residents hurl rocks at police officers in Nazareth

Three police officers were injured by rocks thrown by residents of Nazareth on Monday after attempting to carry out routine traffic safety checks.

Three alleged rock throwers were arrested. The officers were lightly injured and required medical assistance. Their patrol car was heavily damaged by the rocks.

Police have vowed to prosecute the suspects and pursue the maximum legal penalties.
