The latest pop millionaire senior citizen to confirm a show here is Rod Stewart, who will be playing at Ramat Gan Stadium on July 1st, it was announced Wednesday.


The 65-year-old rocker-turned-latter day crooner will appear in a reduced stadium setting of 24,000, 10,000 in the stands and 14,000 in seats set up on the grass.


The prices will range from 550 to 1,000. Tickets for the show go on sale on Saturday night, with the first 7,500 buyers receiving between 50 and 100 off the full price.
