MK Otniel Schneller (Kadima) said that MK Haneen Zoabi should be tried over her recent comments that she "hoped Israeli-Arabs would initiate an Intifada."

Schneller said "Zoabi has for a long time been crossing the line, and this kind of democratic immunity that allows a continuous assault on the State of Israel and its citizens should be forbidden. I intend to request the Knesset legal advisor investigate her outspokenness, her calls for uprising, and remove her immunity and send her to the prosecution."
