Shalom: Iranian naval vessels are provocation to West

Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom said that the two Iranian vessels crossing the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean should be seen as a part of Iran's effort to exert stronger regional influence and control in the Middle East, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.Silvan added that the "Iranian provocation is a signal to the leaders of the Arab world who is the new ruler of the Middle East," Shalom said.
