Six people killed in fire in Rehovot

Six people have been killed in a fire that broke out in southern Rehovot on Monday night.

Emergency services said the victims were five children and one man who became trapped in the home.

The victims are believed to be a father and his children.

Large numbers of fire trucks, ambulances, and police vehicles arrived on the scene, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

"An investigation has been launched into the cause of the blaze," Rosenfeld said.
