Steinitz appoints first female Accountant-General

Michal Abadi Boyanjo became the first woman to be appointed as the Accountant-General on Wednesday.

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz chose her to replace Shuki Oren, who will finish his tenure as Accountant-General this year.

Abadi, 44, is currently the head of accounting at Benleumi Bank.
