A suspicious object was thrown towards Rachel's Tomb Complex in Bethlehem Tuesday morning, prompting security forces to close off the area, Jerusalem Police reported.

Police forces, border patrol and bomb squads were on scene to investigate the object.

No injuries or damage were reported.
