Swedish dockworkers boycott Israeli ships over flotilla

STOCKHOLM — Dockworkers in Sweden began boycotting Israeli ships and cargo on Wednesday, to protest Israel's raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla.
The Swedish Port Workers Union said it supported the international aid convoy and demands that Israel lift its blockade on Gaza, which Israel recently eased under international pressure.
Some 1,500 union members were taking part in the weeklong boycott.
Union spokesman Bjorn Borg said stevedores in the southwestern port of Goteborg have refused to handle about a dozen containers containing cargo from Israel or goods destined for it.
