Tel Hashomer doctors suspect twin babies were abused

Doctors at Tel Hashomer hospital suspected that a pair of hospitalized four-month-old twins, were abused, Army Radio reported Thursday. The twins were rushed to hospital Wednesday evening when one of them was in a very serious condition.

Professor Gidi Porat, Director of Intensive Care at the hospital said that they have not ruled out the possibility that the babies suffer from a disease. The lawyer representing the parents, Zion Amir, vehemently denied allegations.
