Ten people killed in mortar attack on anti-Assad protest

BEIRUT - At least ten people were killed when Syrian security forces fired a mortar on a protest against Syrian President Bashar Assad in the town of Rastan in Homs province on Friday, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Footage posted by activists on YouTube showed body parts in a truck and a body without a head. The number of victims was not clear in the video.
