Third terrorist convicted for Rami Levy supermarket attack

A third terrorist who took part in the Rami Levy supermarket stabbing in 2016 has been convicted of involvement in the attack and attempted murder of a civilian. 21-year-old Tuvia Yanai Weissman, husband and father of one, was killed and one other person was wounded. The main suspect, a minor was sentenced to 35 years in prison in December.
The incident took place at the Sha'ar Binyamin shopping complex and industrial zone in the Binyamin region of Samaria in the West Bank where Jews and Palestinians both shop. Weissman fought off the stabbers and was posthumously awarded a medal of bravery.
