Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov sent a letter to the 33 Chilean miners who were rescued last week to celebrate Christmas in the Holy Land.

Misezhnikov's letter said, "It would be a great honor for us to welcome you as our guests in the Holy Land." The spoke of the tens of thousands of pilgrims who come to Israel for Christmas and said, "we would be pleased to offer you this uplifting and extraordinary experience, as our guests."
