The introduction to the Trajtenberg Committe's report was released on Sunday, a day before the entire report was scheduled to be submitted to the government.

Committee chairman Prof. Manuel Trajtenberg released the introduction on his personal blog.

"The new Israelis of Summer 2011 have served us on a silver platter a great opportunity to enact change and to establish a just and fair society and economy," the report states.
