US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Jerusalem on Monday, holding a joint press conference where the two spoke about regional security ties and the threat Iran poses to the region.

During the press event, Netanyahu thanked the American president for his strong support and his "strong" stance against Iran.

"I think the fact you've taken a strong position on Iran helps strengthen" security in the region, Netanyahu said.

Trump in turn called Israel a good friend to the United States and said that "It was a great honor to visit" the country and its holy sites.
