US Republican President-elect Donald Trump said in a tweet on Monday he would end the United States' "deal" with Cuba if the island nation did not make a better one.

"If Cuba is unwilling to make a better deal for the Cuban people, the Cuban/American people and the US as a whole, I will terminate deal," Trump wrote in a post on Twitter.
