US Chief of Staff, lawmakers to attend memorial unveiling

US Chief of Staff Norton Schwartz, congressman Jeff Miller (Florida-Rep.) and congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (Florida-Dem.) will attend the unveiling of a memorial for Jewish chaplains at Arlington National Cemetery on October 24.
The memorial will be the first of its kind commemorating the 14 Jewish chaplains killed in the line of duty. The ceremony is set to take place on the 150th anniversary of the inclusion of Jewish chaplains in the US armed forces. A coalition of groups lead by The Jewish Federations of North America including the JWB Jewish Chaplains Council, the American Legion and the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance lobbied to erect the memorial.
