The US on Monday strongly condemned the terror attack at the Haoman 17 nightclub in Tel Aviv in which eight people were injured.

"The United States condemns in strongest terms yesterday’s brutal attack on innocent civilians in Tel Aviv," US State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said during a press briefing.

"We extend our deepest sympathies to all those harmed in this tragedy. Attacks against innocent civilians in Israel or anywhere else are never justified. We again remind all parties that violence will not advance but will impede the hope for peace between Israelis and Palestinians," she added.
