Israeli authorities in Jerusalem on Sunday are investigating a possible racially-motivated stabbing attack in Safra Square, which resulted in the wounding of a Jewish bystander. According to initial reports, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish man was stabbed in the stomach by a Palestinian assailant near the entrance to the Old City. The man is in moderate condition. Paramedics administered treatment to the victim at the scene. The suspect was apprehended by a security guard nearby.
