The water level of Lake Kinneret rose by 2 centimeters on Friday and is expected to continue to rise throughout this week as flooding occurs in the rivers of the Galilee and Golan Heights. However, Water Authority officials warn that Israel's major freshwater source is still over five and a half meters below the upper red line.
