The Communications Ministry announced that 018 Xfone and Mirs have won the tenders for two new cellular frequencies held all day Monday.

Xfone's winning bid came in at NIS 705 million and Mirs's winning offer was NIS 710 million.

According to the tender, the companies are expected to erect cellular infrastructure that covers 90 percent of Israel within seven years.
