Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich on Monday decried Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's stance on public sector workers, saying, "Netanyahu did not fire teachers, social workers and nurses, rather the public fired him."

"His ambitions to create a fast-track for firing dedicated workers that earn very little stands in stark contradiction to his thwarting every attempt to limit bloated and corrupt executives in public companies traded on the stock exchange," she said.
