Comm. Ministry awards Celcom a land-line license

The Communication Ministry awarded the Celcom cellular telephone company over the weekend with a license to offer the public in-country landlines. The decision came despite conflicts within the ministry, and despite the fact that interim Communications Minister Avraham Hirschzon was slated to leave the post in the coming weeks.
