Crude oil prices up slightly

Oil prices rose slightly Tuesday morning while traders watched the effects of an oil pipeline leak in western Russia and the continued violence in the Middle East. Light sweet crude for September delivery was up 6 cents to US $74.46 in midmorning Asian electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
