Discount Bank gets pension license

It is the fourth of the country's banks to be approved to sell full pension services.

Supervisor of Capital Markets, Savings and Insurance Yadin Antebi has granted Israel Discount Bank Ltd. a license to begin offering pension advice to its customers, the fourth of the country's banks to be approved to sell full pension services. About a year ago, Union Bank received a license to market pension services to private customers; it was extended two months ago to business customers. Mizrahi Tefahot was granted a license about six months ago after Antebi confirmed that the bank had completed the sale of its holdings in provident and mutual funds, as stipulated by the Bachar capital market reform. First International Bank of Israel received the license about two months ago.
