Dollar slumps to NIS 3.79, lowest rate in almost a decade

The US dollar has slumped by a further 0.76% Tuesday, and was traded at NIS 3.799. This is the lowest exchange rate for the dollar in nearly a decade. The Euro also dropped and was traded at NIS 5.587. The US dollar has been in decline for the past year. One noticeable effect on daily life in Israel was the shift of real estate price listings and contracts from dollar rates to Israeli shekels.
