The Insurance supervisor, Yadin Antebi, announced on Monday that as of January 1, 2008, the Web sites of institutional bodies, including insurance companies and pension funds, must be updated to include more information for insurance holders, claimants and pensioners. Additionally, the sites must include the option for personal management of the funds, as well as general information for the general public such as the directorate of the companies or funds and the major shareholders. Pension fund Web sites must detail the investment strategy of the fund and the amount of yearly earnings generated by the fund.
