Shraga Brosh to meet Arab counterparts

Brosh will stress the importance of strengthening economic ties as a prerequisite to peace in the region.

Manufacturers Association of Israel president Shraga Brosh is to meet his counterparts from across the Middle East next Sunday in Jordan. Representatives from Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, the Gulf states, the Palestinian Authority, the US government and corporate giants such as IBM are expected to attend the summit. Brosh will stress the importance of strengthening economic ties as a prerequisite to peace in the region. Working groups will discuss core economic issues for the Middle East, including water, new infrastructure and energy.
