'Turkish delegation in Israel to train on unmanned drones'

A delegation from Turkey including military and government officials was in Israel Saturday to learn how to operate unmanned drones sold to Ankara by Israel, The New York Times reported.
According to the report, the training had originally been taking place in Turkey. But following the raid on the Gaza flotilla and the ensuing fallout between the countries, the instructors were called home.
And just as the military deal had not been cancelled due to the tensions, most of the civilian business dealings between the nations were intact, the paper reported.
“There are good business contacts,” Professor Soli Ozel of Istanbul’s Biligi University said. “The business community would like to see that continue.”
