"A group of settlers attacked the young Palestinians in the town of Burin, south of Nablus, and opened fire at them, which led to the martyrdom of the boy," a security source told Palestinian news site Qudsnet.
Uday Quddus was reportedly shot in the chest by settlers from Yitzhar, and brought to the hospital where he died of his wounds.
In November, a Yitzhar resident, 37, was detained on suspicion of shooting dead a 16-year-old Palestinian boy. The teen, Aysar Yesser al-Zaben, was shot with a long-barrelled firearm. The Yitzhar resident worked as a security guard, manning the settlement's entrance.
