Law Lecturers Amichai Magen, Harel Ben-Ari discuss liberal Democracy, state failure; Livni, Ayalon also set to address Jerusalem conference.

A distinguished panel was scheduled to address the annual meeting of the Governing Board of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
Participating in the panel entitled: Israel, the Palestinians and the Middle East: Between Liberal Democracy and State Failure, are Stanford University law lecturer Amichai Magen, Bar-Ilan University law lecturer Harel Ben-Ari, World Jewish Diplomatic Corps member Lisa Levy and Hudson Institute visiting fellow Elizabeth Samson.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, opposition leader Tzipi Livni and Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon will also address the conference.
During the three-day meeting, the Governing Board will elect a new secretary-general of the WJC to succeed Michael Schneider. The WJC Executive has unanimously nominated the respected foreign policy expert from Israel, Daniel Diker, for the most senior WJC professional position.
