The murder of Gdansk mayor Pawel Adamowicz, who was supportive of the city's Jewish and LGBT communities, brings residents together to question a climate of hate.
Paweł Adamowicz, a lawyer and social activist who has served as mayor since 1998, died Monday. He was 53.
Professor Jan Grabowski of the University of Ottawa filed a lawsuit for libel against the Polish League Against Defamation on Thursday at the District Court in Warsaw.
