Israel's Shin Bet released footage on Wednesday of a Hamas terrorist describing his actions in the south of Israel during the October 7 massacre.

"The mission was simply to kill," said Hamas operative Omar Abu Rusha. "We weren't supposed to kidnap. Just kill."

IDF releases proof of Hamas stealing gas from Gazan hospitals

The IDF on Wednesday night released a recording of a conversation between a Hamas commander and a Gazan citizen revealing how Hamas takes fuel from hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

In the conversation, the commander of the West Jabaliya Brigade of Hamas speaks with the head of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza as well as another Gazan citizen.

IDF, Shin Bet kill Hamas's head of anti-tank forces in Gaza

In a joint effort, the IDF and Shin Bet kill Hamas's head of the anti-tank forces in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced on Wednesday evening.

With the direction from the Shin Bet, the IDF was able to identify and eliminate Muhammad Atzar, using a fighter jet.

During his time in command, he fired several anti-tank missile attacks against Israeli citizens and IDF forces.

First Americans and other foreign nationals flee Gaza through Rafah

The first group of an estimated 7,500 foreign passport holders trapped in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7, were able to leave the besieged enclave for Egypt through the Rafah Crossing after weeks of intense diplomatic effort.

At least 320 foreign nationals, including US and British citizens, and dozens of severely injured Gazans were among the first beneficiaries of the Qatari-mediated deal brokered between Egypt, Israel and Hamas.

Blinken will travel to Israel, Jordan on Friday -State Dept

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Israel and Jordan on Friday, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, adding that Blinken will meet with leaders of the Israeli government, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for an update on their military objectives.

"He will reiterate US support for Israel's right to defend itself in accordance with international humanitarian law and discuss the need to take all precautions to minimize civilian casualties, as well as our work to deliver humanitarian assistance," Miller told reporters.

Blinken will also visit Turkey on Sunday, according to a Turkish diplomatic source. Blinken will be in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Nov. 5, the source said.

Gallant, accompanied by senior military officials including Deputy Chief of the General Staff Maj.-Gen. Amir Baram, Maj.-Gen. Itai Veruv, Commander of the 36th Brigade Brig.-Gen. Dado Bar Kalifa, and Brig.-Gen. Ofer Winter took stock of the current operational scenario. He was informed about the brigade's readiness for sustained ground operations and their significant accomplishments in neutralizing terrorist cells and infrastructure.

US House Speaker Johnson to bring Israel bill to floor despite deficit effect

US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson said on Wednesday he still plans to hold a vote on a standalone Israel aid bill despite a Congressional Budget Office score showing it could increase the federal deficit by cutting funding to the Internal Revenue Service.

In the first major legislative action under new Speaker Mike Johnson, House Republicans unveiled a standalone supplemental spending bill that would provide $14.3 billion for Israel by cutting Internal Revenue Service funding.

The measure is strongly opposed by Democrats, as well as some Republicans. The top Senate Democrat, Chuck Schumer, said on Tuesday the bill would be dead on arrival in the upper chamber.

Combined stages of Gaza war to take several months; thousands of Hamas terrorists killed

This could mean a mix of some months of all-out fighting.

The combined stages of the current all-out invasion and expected later stages of insurgency and lower-grade fighting will take several months, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

While to date, the IDF and top political officials have talked about an invasion lasting for weeks, and sometimes about other processes lasting a couple of months or more, the impression now is that the conflict will be on the longer end of these estimates.

"Israel is a country that has no place on our land," Hamas official Ghazi Hamad told Lebanese news outlet LBCI news this week, according to a report and translation from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) released on Wednesday. 

"We must remove that country," he continued.
