Palestinian man shot and killed in Bethlehem clashes
Israeli forces entered the village of Dheisheh early Friday morning. The deceased is the only reported fatality.

A Palestinian was shot and killed on Friday (July 14) by Israeli troops during clashes in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.The Israeli military said in a statement that soldiers had entered the West Bank village of Dheisheh near Bethlehem early on Friday to arrest suspects. Palestinians then began hurling explosive devices and blocks at the troops, who responded by firing towards the suspects, the statement said.The name and age of the deceased is disputed by different outlets. He was either age 18 or 21, with the last name of Hamamda.A funeral was held the same day, with massive crowds of Palestinians accompanying the coffin throughout the streets of Bethlehem.Hamamda's death came around the same time as this morning's terror attack on the Temple Mount, in which three Israeli Arabs shot at a group of Israeli policemen, killing two and injuring two more. The assailants were shot and killed by the police.
