In recent times, the army has started releasing some of the reservists who were called to the front lines during the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War. With their release, many of the serving reservists feel the need to take a moment to breathe before returning to their daily routines.

In order to alleviate the newly released reservists, the Association of Hotels in Israel and Reservist Officers have launched an operation. Anyone who completed 30 or more days of reserve duty during the past year (from February 23 to February 24) will be entitled to a minimum of 25% discount for vacation bookings in Israel during February-March 24 at a variety of hotels.

Over 120 hotels from all over the country, including different ratings and levels, participate in this special offer. They will enable the guests to enjoy at least a 25% discount, with some hotels offering even 30% or 40% discount, regardless of the type of room, number of guests, or type of board.

"This is our way of saying thank you to the reservists who risk their lives since October 7th," says Sivan Detauker, CEO of the Association of Hotels in Israel. "Hotels in Israel, which were mobilized to serve the citizens of Israel during the outbreak of the war and still host tens of thousands of refugees, acknowledge the reservists and provide a significant discount reaching thousands of shekels for each vacation. We hope that the respite from the battlefront will allow the reservists and their families to relax and enjoy some moments of peace and family bonding amidst the war background."
