The electric, electronics and digital chain A.L.M. is adding to its branches temi, the first selling robot in the retail world in Israel from the company ONE Robotix.

The robot will thicken the service and sales system in the chain's branches, offer special offers, connect the customer to the relevant department, transport small products from the warehouse and in the future will even allow purchasing directly from it. In the first phase, temi will join ALM branches in the Ramat Aviv and Big Beer Sheva malls, and later it will join other branches.

Uri Lahav, CEO of the ALM network: "The integration of the robot in the service and sales system in the branches is another technological step that advances ALM towards the future and enables, in an easy and quick way, the provision of extensive information to customers who come to the branch about the products sold and the various promotions" The temi robot joins other operations carried out by the network in the last year in upgrading the service and sales experience. "We established a telephone expert center, expanded the number of network branches and doubled the branches of 'ALM Digital' which offers a wide variety of laptops, cell phones, gaming consoles and other products Lahav adds.

Oded Tahori, CEO of ONE Robotix: "For the first time in Israel, a robot will receive customers in a store. This is an exciting step and an important landmark in the adoption of innovative technologies in the local retail market. The solution that integrates the robot in the store allows customers to enter into a completely digital experience, thus connecting the marketing in the digital worlds to the continuation of the "customer journey" in the physical stores." "The robot helps to improve the service experience in the branches, completes marketing processes that started digitally, and helps the staff in the store to increase sales. This is about the future of the retail industry, and we are happy to bring it to Israel today," Tahori concludes.

The temi personal robot is a sophisticated device that knows how to recognize its operator, follow him and perform various tasks without the need to use a keyboard or touch screen.

The robot, which has won many international innovation awards, is operated using voice commands and hand gestures, and includes the ability to detect obstacles and plan a path. The ONE Robotix company, the exclusive distributor of the temi robot in Israel, is responsible for developing software and complementary solutions, which allow the robot to be adapted to the unique needs of users in a variety of sectors, thus producing a unique solution that will advance the economy into the era of advanced robotics.
