After about an hour and a half of disconnections and difficulties connecting the social networks of Meta - Instagram and Threads returned to regular activity. It seems that most of the disruptions were concentrated in North America and especially in New York and Los Angeles.
Earlier, the "Downdetector" network reported a malfunction on the Instagram platforms around the world. The reports started at 21:00 this evening. There are still no reports of malfunctions in Israel.
As you remember, about a month ago there was a huge glitch on Facebook and Instagram. Many surfers claimed that during the attempt to enter one of the social networks through the application, it was necessary to type in a username and password again. In other cases, when trying to log in through the browser, a white page is loaded instead of the company website. After two hours the problem was solved.
A similar glitch was reported again about two weeks ago, when there was a global glitch in which users reported difficulties in sending and receiving messages, viewing stories and searching in both apps.
