Google and Rashi Foundation, along with the Cyber Education Center, are launching Hello Tech in Israel, a program for technology and artificial intelligence studies for high school students in grades 8 to 12, without prior background or screening. The program is being piloted in Umm al-Fahm, Be'eri, and Ofakim, where students are currently going through a complex and challenging period.

In the future, the program is expected to expand to additional cities with the goal of exposing tens of thousands of students from geographically and socially peripheral areas to artificial intelligence studies and acquiring skills for the developing job market.

The goal of the program is to generate interest and motivation for further studies in the field, and to remove some of the barriers faced by underrepresented students, thereby promoting their integration in the hi-tech industry in Israel.
