2 arrested on suspicion of plotting attack on NY synagogue

Two men who allegedly plotted to attack a Manhattan synagogue were arrested on Thursday in New York City, ABC News reported.
Law enforcement officials said this was the 13th such plot that was prevented in the city since September 11.
The men were nabbed last night in Midtown Manhattan as part of a police operation that began prior to Osama bin Laden's killing, and was not connected to any retaliatory plan, sources quoted by ABC News said.
While the suspects planned to attack a synagogue in the city, they did not specify which synagogue had been targeted.
