Adalah: 'Over 50k students in the Negev lack access to online schooling'

Arab legal team Adalah filed an urgent appeal to Israel's High Court on Sunday evening for increased efforts to help students across Israel's southern Negev desert access to long-distance virtual schooling.

According to the appeal, more than 50,000 students in 48 Negev villages are not connected to electricity or the Internet and most do not have a computer. Since their schooling was discontinued, they have been denied the right to education.
