ADL concerned over anti-Semitic presence in new Greek gov't

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) called on Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos on Tuesday "to firmly and unequivocally condemn anti-Semitism" after Greek leaders who have expressed anti-Semitic views joined the new government in Athens.
The ADL said the inclusion of the LAOS party was "deeply troubling," especially given the party leader Georgios Karatzaferis's history of anti-Semitic comments, according to the statement.
Karatzaferis has referred to the Holocaust and the Auchwitz and Dachau death camps as "myths," and said Jews "have no legitimacy to speak in Greece."
