Ahmadinejad: We don't need nukes to 'cut off hands' of US

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lashed out at the United States Tuesday amid increased rhetoric surrounding Iran's alleged nuclear program. The statements came ahead of the release of an IAEA report that is expected to confirm fears Tehran is seeking nuclear weapons.
Iran, Ahmadinejad said, does not need an atomic bomb to "cut off [the] US's hands,"  official Tehran-based PressTV reported.
Noting that the United States possesses over 5,000 nuclear warheads, the Iranian president accused Washington of arrogance in its campaign against Tehran. The US, he said, has allocated "$81 billion to upgrade its atomic bombs, while the entire annual budget of Iran's nuclear research is merely $250 million," according to the report.
Ahmadinejad also directed his attack at IAEA head Yukia Amano, saying that he has no authority of his own and "merely restates US words."
