17-year-old Palestinian killed in clashes with IDF forces in Jenin

A 17-year-old Palestinian was reportedly killed in clashes with IDF forces in the village of Kafr Dan near Jenin, during an early Saturday morning raid in the West Bank.

Israeli security forces opened fire on Palestinians after Molotov cocktails and explosive devices were hurled toward them, the IDF said.

No Israeli casualties were reported. An 18-year-old Palestinian was also seriously injured, as per reports.

Six Palestinians were detained by the IDF in the raid.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad group described the teen as one of its members and said he had taken part in the fighting against the Israeli soldiers. He was identified as Amjad Fayed.
