Yavne police station detectives began an accelerated investigation upon receiving a report from the welfare services regarding the suspicion of a sexual offense against a minor by her brother in their home in Nahal Sorek on Sunday, according to police.
Police investigators with the cooperation of welfare agencies conducted a variety of accelerated investigative operations, in which it was revealed that the suspect, a 22-year-old man, had raped his younger sister in recent years since she was 8-years-old.
The suspect was arrested and his detention was extended in court. The prosecutor's statement against him was submitted to the court last Friday.
