A Palestinian terrorist was killed during armed clashes with the IDF in Jenin early Friday morning, as Israeli forces entered the city to arrest a terrorism suspect.

Three other Palestinians were injured in the clashes, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Video from the scene showed heavy gunfire being directed towards Israeli forces operating in the West Bank city, with Israeli forces returning fire. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated on Friday that explosives were also thrown at Israeli forces. No Israeli injuries were reported in the clashes.

Baraa Kifah Alawneh, a resident of Jenin, was arrested by the Israeli forces during the operation.

Surveillance camera footage from Jenin also showed the suspect attempting, but failing, to escape while being put in an IDF vehicle.

Israeli forces also operated in Hebron, Dayr Jarir and Turmus Ayya, arresting three other Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorist activities, as part of Operation Break the Wave.
